where are all the reviews, hmmm? (Thanks for that last one, Essyllt :) )
Unfortunately, the only things I'm in any position to review currently have names like 'On the Formation of Maars', and I'm sick of them.
Here's an idea for something a bit different, that we can do at the same time as reviews (assuming that people are still going to do reviews).
A few of us have been writing stories together - nothing epic, (and nothing that's finished yet *pointed looks at Essyllt and Anistasya*) but they're fun to do. Nothing is preplanned - someone starts off, and people keep writing (reasonably but not spectacularly long posts). Take the story in any direction you like, as long as you don't introduce too many twists in one section. We won't have a planned order, but if you find yourself writing every second post, remember to wait and give others a chance to reply.
If you're interested, please comment to say so - we'd want at least four of us to justify doing this on the blog.

Interested. ;)
Definitely interested :)
Funnily enough, so am I...any more takers?
Why not? I haven't been writing much lately, much to my disgust...
Yay, we have four - does this mean we can start?
And this means we can start! Yay :)
First up, we need a volunteer, otherwise I shall volunteer Essyllt, who is least likely to volunteer herself.
Those who haven't commented are welcome to join in now or at any other stage. I think the plan is for the first writer to decide genre/setting, but keep in mind these are rather flexible :) Any other suggestions, please comment.
Posts should be not-too-long (I leave that to your judgement!) and remember you can take control, within limits (one life-changing decision per post?)
PS. Maybe we should all volunteer Essyllt? Unless she's too busy? It doesn't have to be a complicated start :)
Do we do it in separate posts and number them? Do we cycle in a specific order and wait for the person whose turn it is next, or can we steal their turn if they miss it by more than a day?
Let's do it as separate posts with a number and a 'group story' (or some other, more intelligent-sounding) tag.
There is no specific order - whoever is first to respond gets the privilege (I'd love to see us all interact with each other than just with whoever's before us) provided that they don't do it too often (so we don't want it to be back and forth between two people).
I'm not going to come up with specific rules at this stage - if you think of something, please share - but otherwise I'll leave it to the excellent judgement of you lot :)
For the same reason, if you're going to be away for a while, please comment so that the others aren't sitting around waiting for responses when there aren't enough people to respond.
